“The experience overall is nice, Sonja was our guide and was real helpful and considerate the whole time. However, there was one thing I did find weird and uncomfortable. When I was lining up for telescope, One of the male staff use Laser pointer DIRECLTLY ON MY FACE asking if I was part of the group. 1. This is EXTREMELY RUDE AND WEIRD. whether I was out not, it DOSE NOT GIVE YOU THE RIGHT to directly laser someone's face, not to mention it hurts the eyes. 2. I was with the group the whole time, I don't know what made u think that I was a solo tourist taking…”

“It really is a wonderful trip. The tour guide Ozzi was very helpful and enthusiastic. We learned lots about the history of Tenerife, volcanoes and stars. The sunset was just beautiful and star gazing in such an unspoilt area was wonderful. Note: definitely wrap up warm! It’s much colder than you think. I have left 3 stars only because: - the meal was disappointing - they advertise vegan options but the restaurant didn’t seem to understand and my desert was a banana - there is a lot of upselling of official photos, prices starting at 40 euros.”

“Poor experience, if you want to actually see anything choose something else. 30min at Teide mountain and valey, 25min at Gerrachico and 30min at Masca. But over 2 hours in their promoted place for lunch and souvenir shop at Icod where there is nothing to see. Always on the run at the nicest places struggling to see anything or take a picture. If need a toilet breake you miss everything cause simply no time left for anything. Will have to buy another tour, likely, with my holiday provider to actually see the mountain.”

She constantly provided little insights of the landscape, history, and scientific research which displayed not only her knowledge but her passion for what she does. She constantly made sure that we were all feeling ok during the climb and did not rush us at any point. So far this is the highlight of our trip and recommend to anyone who visits Tenerife.”

I would say, incase you’re wondering of what to wear, we went out on a hot, cloudless and sunny day but we still wore jeans/leggings and took a fleece with us and felt this was very much needed. Once you get higher up it gets very windy and quite cold, even on a hot day. They also give you a puffer jacket to bring, which is nice to have and we also wore that. They also give you goggles.
